The platform Distributed Campus http://distributed-campus.org has been used at the Freie Universität since the end of 2004 and has worked for various institutions and exchange programs.
In the scope of the DAAD sponsored project, the successful Open DC model is being used by other German universities.
The following universities have chosen the transferable model in accordance with the full service model, meaning: designs are adapted to fit the corporate design of the university, setting up and configuring the application and the hosting are realized by CeDiS:
- "UPrepare", Akademisches Auslandsamt der Universität Potsdam:
http://distributed-campus.org/uprepare/ (since January 2008) - "Intercampus", Internationales Büro der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena:
http://distributed-campus.org/intercampus/ (since March 2008) - "Newcomer Portal", International Office der Universität Bremen:
http://distributed-campus.org/newcomerportal/ (since April 2009) - "TUM Welcome Guide", International Office der Technischen Universität München: http://distributed-campus.org/tumwelcomeguide/ (since May 2009)
- "JoGuGate", Abteilung Internationales der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz:
http://distributed-campus.org/jogugate/ (since November 2009) - "Jacobs Portal", Registrar's Office, Jacobs University Bremen
http://distributed-campus.org/jacobsportal (seit Juli 2010) - "uni-koeln-international", Akademisches Auslandsamt, Universität zu Köln (in preparation)
- "Countdown", International Office, TU Kaiserslautern (in preparation)
There are also the following two universities that chose to adopt Open DC as Open Source model and pursue the technical development themselves:
- ODC-Plattform des Akademischen Auslandsamts der Universität Mannheim (in preparation)
- ODC-Plattform des International Center for Development and Decent Work der Universität Kassel (in preparation)
